Lights for Life Christmas Light Recycling

Home

RECYCLE YOUR OLD CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AT ACE!

Recycle your old Christmas Light Strands and get $1 off a new strand of LED Lights (Not  valid on sale lights). Other things you can recycle include dry cell household batteries, rechargeable batteries, CFL bulbs, cell phones, old thermostats, and extension cords.

About Lights For Life — Helping Kids With Cancer & Keeping The Environment Safe
We help kids with cancer by recycling old and broken holiday string lights. How can old holiday string lights help kids with cancer? Holiday string lights contain copper, a valuable commodity. We collect the string lights (and other items that contain copper) and sell them to a recycling company.  We then donate the proceeds directly to a family who has a child with cancer.  It’s that easy! And it’s good for the environment!  Keep valuable commodities out of landfills, and help kids with cancer! It’s a win-win situation!

How can I help?
You can help kids with cancer by bringing in your old, ugly, broken string lights to Ace Hardware . We’ll take care of the rest.

Where can the lights be donated?
Holiday string lights can be donated to participating Ace Hardwares in Colorado, Wyoming,  New Mexico and Northern California between November 1st and February 15th, and the Lights for Life Headquarters and Orchard’s Ace in Loveland, CO all year long.

What if I don’t have holiday string lights… can I still help?
Yes!  Of course you can still help!  As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit,
Cash donations and grants are always accepted and greatly appreciated.
You could also help us spread the word by joining the Lights for Life Street Team.

What if I know of a family that has a child with cancer?

We would love to help. Please have them email us at info@LightsForLifeInc.com, or forward them this link: http://bit.ly/LightsForLife.
